 Jaquine was raised with Rosa in the mining community Grargshire. His lifelong dream is to join the Long Patrol, and some day lead it into battle. He is a close friend of Rosa's, even if they take an occasional verbal shot at each other. It's all in good fun, though. He perfers Jaquine over his full name, which is Jaquine DeFanso Sharike Olafson Gerard McGreggor.
