(Chapter Two) The Beast vs. The Stray

When the bell rang to go to our next class, I darted out of there in a flash. I was trying to hold back the tears that were welling up in my eyes. I knew there was a catch to Ryoko; he is a she! However, through my blind race of sadness, I bumped hard into something and fell back, my ass hitting the floor stiffly. "Ow ow ow!" I whimpered, wincing a bit. Suddenly, the something I ran into turned around and faced me, glaring down with his intensely fierce red eyes. "A-Ah!?" I whimpered, "R-Ren-senpai?!" I sat there in fear, shivering in the upperclassmen's shadow.
